I am 21 years old and my bf is 31. We have one son who is 21 months old. My bf works full time and i work at a restaurant on the weekends and babysit during the week.

Found a way to save $70 a month

we just put a different car on the road and took the old one off, only to find that the insurance company wanted us to pay $242 a month for car insurance. Needluss to say " i flipped." considering the only car we have is a 95 neon. I thought that was outrageous!.. i mean my bf is driving farther to work but that is still insane! no wonder insurance companies have such huge profits. so today i went to the local insurance company and did a quote only to find that they would only charge us $171 a month... thats $875 saved over an entire year! so anyone that is reading this , check your insurance rates every year!

Same coverage? If so, good for you for finding that. We check several times a year on insurance rates, but so far have found the best deal is to insure car, boat, and home all through one company.

yes, same coverage. but we also get a discount bc we have our house insurance with them.. which we are supposed to get on the other one neways.

We changed insurance companies for the same reason. Huge difference in prices for same coverage.

I recently switched my insurance also. SAME coverage for $146.00 p/year less.

Of course, it goes the other way too. I got so sick of hearing all the Geico commercials saying "15 minutes can save you 15% or more" that I finally went online and got a quote from them. It was for $600 MORE than we are currently paying.
