I am 21 years old and my bf is 31. We have one son who is 21 months old. My bf works full time and i work at a restaurant on the weekends and babysit during the week.

Computer credit card:$536.39 at 19.5% ouch that one hurts a bit.. PAID

Mother in law:$130PAID

House ins:$600 we pay it yearly.. (July 2008)

Wedding date ( unrelated to money)

My bf and i have been trying to decide on a wedding date. We both cant pick a date. we were debating on the long weekend in august. i wanted to know what anyone thought about having a wedding on a long weekend. Good idea or bad?

I would say go for it, especially if people need to come from some distance. Let them come for the wedding, but also feel as though they've had a vacation.

We got married on 4th of July weekend. We chose that date mostly to be sure that DH could make it, but it gave plenty of time for travel or play for the guests. We also knew that since it was a holiday/long weekend some people might not choose to come, but most people were able to come!
